This clarification text has been prepared by Petrol Ofisi Inc. (“Petrol Ofisi” or “Company”) as the data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Complied with in Fulfilling the Obligation to Clarify.
Your name – surname, mobile phone number, positive card number, and license plate data;
- Positive Card number and license plate data; to carry out Positive Card Membership transactions, communicate about updates, provide the necessary information, prevent incorrect fuel filling, carry out invoicing processes, and evaluate the requests you may submit under our contract, the establishment or performance of an agreement stipulated in Article 5 (2) (c) of the Law, provided that it is directly related, the processing of personal data belonging to the parties to the contract is processed automatically based on the legal reason;
- To be able to use it in legal processes, if necessary, based on the legitimate interest of the data controller stipulated in article 5 (2) (f) of the Law, and data processing mandatory for the establishment, use, or protection of the right in article 5 (2) (e) of the Law based on legal grounds;
- In cases where the Commercial Electronic Message permission exists, your mobile phone data is processed by automatic means only to inform you about developments, opportunities, and innovations and to fulfill our legal obligations arising from legislation, such as electronic commerce legislation, based on the legal reason that the data controller performs his legal obligation following Article 5 (2) (ç) of the Law.
Such personal data will be transferred to domestically resident suppliers to carry out the supply processes of goods and services. In addition, it may be transferred to the consultants who receive benefits to follow up and carry out the legal and litigation affairs, to public institutions and organizations to fulfill the legal obligation, or to the judicial authorities or relevant law enforce.
You can submit your requests within the scope of Article 11 of the Law "regulating the rights of the relevant subject" to our Company following the Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller.
