The first TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Test Laboratories Accreditation Certificate in the industry

Petrol Ofisi Group Technology Center (POTEM), established in a 1,200 m² closed area at the Petrol Ofisi Group Lubricants Production Facility in Derince, Kocaeli, has the first TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Test Laboratories Accreditation in the industry. POTEM has been serving in light of its unique knowledge and experience since 1941, with an investment value of 6 million dollars, state-of-the-art equipment, and an expert team.

High-tech product development studies

At POTEM, we follow up on the latest technologies and developments in all industries worldwide, especially the automotive sector, and adopt them simultaneously. We carry out new product development studies in line with the needs of equipment manufacturers. Research and development studies of lubricants, antifreeze, grease, and fuel products within our brand are carried out by POTEM.

POLA Analysis and evaluation service for used lubricants

POLA is a used lubricant analysis and evaluation system developed by POTEM to monitor lubricant and equipment conditions. Within the POLA service, a lubricant’s chemical and physical condition is defined, its performance is checked, and the type and number of internal/external contaminants and wear elements are analyzed.
