Petrol Ofisi Group has opened its new station at Milta Bodrum Marina in cooperation with As Group. Located in Bodrum, which accounts for approximately 40 percent of Türkiye’s yacht berthing capacity and refueling operations, the station will provide fuel for all marine vessels—particularly yachts up to 40 meters—making a significant contribution to local operations.
Petrol Ofisi Group, the traditional leader of Türkiye’s fuel sector, inaugurated its new station at Milta Bodrum Marina, developed in partnership with As Group, with a special opening event. Petrol Ofisi Group CEO Mehmet Abbasoğlu, As Group Chairman of the Executive Board Mert Aslan, and Petroleum Products Employers’ Union (PÜİS) President Imran Okumuş attended the ceremony.
As the 16th station in Petrol Ofisi Group’s nationwide marina network, Milta Bodrum Marina operates in one of the country’s most prestigious and busiest locations in terms of yacht capacity, serving as a vital hub for the maritime sector. The station supplies fuel to all marine vessels up to 40 meters, including privately owned and corporate yachts as well as public service vessels such as Coast Guard and marine police boats.
With this new station, the number of Petrol Ofisi Group’s marina stations in Muğla has reached seven. The company operates two marina stations in Bodrum, two in Marmaris, and three in Göcek, maintaining its leadership in the maritime sector for six consecutive years under the PO/Marine brand.
Petrol Ofisi Group CEO Mehmet Abbasoğlu said in the ceremony: “It is of great value to us to provide services in partnership with As Group right in front of Bodrum Castle, in this unique corner of our beautiful country. Within the framework of the Blue Homeland vision, maritime supply carries strategic importance in terms of income–expense balance as well as operational scale and dynamics. We will continue to invest in this area and contribute to the sector’s growth not only in the Aegean and Mediterranean but also in the Black Sea.”
As Group Chairman of the Executive Board Mert Aslan added: “We are delighted to bring this investment to life once again under the Petrol Ofisi flag and our AQUAS brand, contributing to Bodrum’s maritime culture. We believe our Milta Marina station, with its prime location and commitment to safe service, will add long-lasting value to the region.”
In his remarks, Petrol Ofisi Group Senior Manager of Maritime Operations Aydın Yıldız stated: “At Petrol Ofisi Group, we are very proud both to demonstrate the strength of our brand in Bodrum and to serve our customers in such a prime location. With this investment, we anticipate that station sales will more than double, while also supporting Bodrum’s growth in both tourism and energy.”
