After concluding one of the most strategic energy acquisitions in recent history by acquiring bp's Türkiye operations, Petrol Ofisi Group continues the transformation of bp stations at full speed. Most recently, the group has completed the transformation of three iconic locations in the heart of Istanbul, namely Kızıltoprak, Levent and Maslak, further strengthening its position in city centers.
Petrol Ofisi Group, the traditional leader of Türkiye’s fuel and lubricants industry, has reached another major milestone in the comprehensive transformation initiated with the acquisition of bp stations. Three stations in the Kızıltoprak, Levent and Maslak, which are among Istanbul's most central and high-traffic locations, started operating under the Petrol Ofisi brand following their opening ceremonies. Petrol Ofisi Group CEO Mehmet Abbasoğlu, Petrol Ofisi Group Retail Director Ömür Gebeş, national athletes Yusuf Dikeç and Şevval İlayda Tarhan and Türkiye’s youngest rally champion Kerem Kazaz were present at the opening ceremonies.
Petrol Ofisi Group CEO Mehmet Abbasoğlu commented on the openings: “By making one of the most strategic moves in our industry and acquiring bp's operations in Türkiye, we have incorporated 770 bp stations into our network. In addition to increasing our total number of stations to over 2,700, we have brought together a strong ecosystem and experience spanning nearly two centuries. We continue our transformation journey at all stations, more than half of which we have rebranded with the new Petrol Ofisi identity. Our goal is to bring all the stations we have acquired up to Petrol Ofisi standards by the end of 2026, enabling us to offer the highest quality to some 2 million guests across Türkiye who visit our stations every day.”
Petrol Ofisi Group Retail Director Ömür Gebeş added the following: “We are redesigning our stations across Türkiye as versatile living spaces that meet all our customers' needs. In addition to the quality and product variety we offer with our MarketPlus concept, we are perfecting the retail experience through both conventional and digital channels through our strong partnerships with Tchibo and Getir. With the stations we are opening today in Istanbul's busiest traffic areas, we are bringing our quality and inclusive service approach to the heart of Istanbul”
