TRY100 million support from Petrol Ofisi to Türkiye's disaster region

Petrol Ofisi, Türkiye's energy infrastructure group, announced that it had allocated TRY100 million to ensure the continuity of search and rescue and debris removal operations in Türkiye's disaster zone. In its statement, the company said:

"We are gradually supplying 5 million liters of fuel oil worth TRY100 million to AFAD for free through the automation system of our stations in 10 provinces. It is our duty to contribute to our country in these difficult days that have shaken everyone deeply. As Petrol Ofisi Group, we have been mobilizing all our resources since the first moment of the disaster, cooperating with all public institutions, and working with all our strength to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply with the unconditional support of our dealers and regional operations in the region. In this direction, we hope that this support we have provided to AFAD will be a lifeline for search and rescue and debris removal efforts."

In addition to the TRY100 million support announced for AFAD in the region, Petrol Ofisi Group mobilized its entire infrastructure to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of federal and international aircraft aid, which is vital for search and rescue operations, so for 2.750.000 liters of fuel have supplied to a total of 320 aircraft in order to ensure the smooth running of aid aircraft traffic in the region.
