Petrol Ofisi’s Fully Synthetic Motor Oil for Diesel Vehicles with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF)

Petrol Ofisi, Türkiye’s leading fuel distribution and lubricants company, has added a new product to its Maxima motor oil family, which it develops specifically for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Launched in January, the fully synthetic Maxima CX 5W-30, developed for passenger and light commercial vehicles with diesel particulate filters, offers both C2 and C3 performance levels defined by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), thanks to its advanced formulation.

Meeting the needs of new-generation vehicles with diesel particulate filters, Maxima CX 5W-30 provides up to 10 times better wear protection based on ACEA C2 and C3 limit values*, and keeps the engine up to twice as clean, reducing deposit formation. Helping the engine operate more efficiently, Maxima CX 5W-30 also stands out for its contribution to fuel economy.

Maxima CX 5W-30 was developed as a result of extensive R&D activities carried out at POTEM – Petrol Ofisi Technology Center, Türkiye’s largest lubricant technology center. This new product, like all members of the Maxima family, protects the engine and provides drivers with the ideal conditions for a safe and confident drive.

According to API SN requirements:

Test Test method Limit Measured Value
Camshaft and rocker arm wear (µm) ASTM D-7320 60 max 6

According to ACEA C3 requirements:

Test Limit Measured Value
Piston and ring cleanliness (average of 4 pistons) ≥12 23
